Used SUVs for Sale in Newmarket, Ontario

Compact and mid-size SUVs that handle a York Region winter and still make sense at the pump.

All-wheel drive, and when you actually need it

AWD helps you get moving on an unploughed side street; it does nothing for stopping. Winter tyres do more for safety on Highway 404 in February than a drivetrain badge does, and they cost a great deal less. We will tell you honestly whether the AWD version of a model is worth the difference for how you drive.

What a compact SUV really costs to run

A compact crossover typically uses one to two litres per hundred kilometres more than the sedan it is based on, and tyres are usually a size dearer. Against that you get ground clearance and a boot that takes a stroller sideways. It is a real trade, and it is worth doing the arithmetic before you decide.

Space, measured in things rather than litres

A compact SUV takes a full-size stroller and a week's shopping. A mid-size takes two car seats across the second row without the front seats moving forward. If you are carrying a specific thing regularly, bring it — we would rather you check it fits than find out afterwards.

Inspected before it is listed

Every SUV here is mechanically inspected and safety certified before delivery, and the report is available on request. On a used crossover the things worth checking are the rear differential and the tailgate struts, and we look at both.
